The facade on this award winning hotel project comprises of an external glazed and patterned veil with internal skin of factory fabricated unitised panels. The outer skin which was designed for maximum transparency, was constructed from low-iron curved & flat glazing, and a suspended stainless steel rod and fin assembly with countersunk point fixings.

The varied levels of opacity, was controlled by a changing pattern of white ceramic frit.

Coloured light effects are achieved via LED’s integrated into the inner skin, forming a kinetic illuminated facade that can be programmed to sophisticated levels to create artwork.
